Gerbermühle Hotel

The Gerbermühle is a hotel and restaurant situated on the banks of Frankfurt’s river ‘Main’. With its rich tapestry of history, this hotel is a quintessential part of the city’s heritage.
The brand identity is designed to give reference to the rich historical significance of the place, but also embraced the modern present. This has been achieved by combining traditional periodic paintings with modern minimal type and layout. The juxtaposition between the two created a harmonious and elegant design.
Project was completed whilst I was under the employ of Morgen Schwarzwald Design Studio, Freiburg im Breisgau.
